Industrial action at the port of Calais severely disrupted a major automotive industry providers supply chain.

Cargo Link Express were able to provide an effective emergency door-to-door solution with charter aircraft support, preventing production line stoppage’s across Europe.  56 pallets of material @ 12000kgs moved DSA (Doncaster) to LGG (Liege) by aircraft charter, with onward connections by road across Belgium & Northern France.

In addition,  a further 19 pallets of material @ 7500kgs were airlifted EMA (East Midlands) – BGY (Bergamo) with dedicated vehicle connection to Southern France.
